Hours

The Momentary lobby and galleries are open Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday, 10am to 6pm, Friday, and Saturday, 10am to 8pm. The Momentary is closed on Mondays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

The Momentary Green is open daily. Tavares Strachan’s You Belong Here (opens in new tab) is illuminated nightly, starting at dusk.

Open to the public Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Closed on weekends and major holidays. Free parking is available at Campus Parking (opens in new tab) located on Museum Way.

The building, opened May 1, 2025, was designed by Marlon Blackwell Architects (Fayetteville, Arkansas) and is inspired by Ozark landscapes. The building’s materials are a mix of weathered brass fins and glass and stone cladding. The stone, also known as Giraffe Stone, is a building method found throughout the region, and the weathered brass fins are similar to the hardwood forests prominent in the Ozarks.

Open to the public Monday – Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Closed on weekends and major holidays. AWSOM is closed to the public April 10, 2026; May 4-5, 2026; and May 18-19, 2026. Free parking is available at Crystal Bridges Campus Parking (opens in new tab).

Visitors have access to several thoughtfully designed public areas within the AWSOM building and grounds, including the lobby, art gallery, AWSOM Café, Rooftop Park, Healing Garden, pond and wetland terrace, Community Lawn, and the amphitheater at the main entrance. Each space offers a unique opportunity to experience art, wellness, and nature, inviting guests to explore and engage during regular public hours.
